Communities for Red Colobus

Empowering communities to protect endangered primates

Our Mission

We aim to build capacity in the C4RC project area and across primate range areas in The Gambia for the conservation of red colobus monkeys and their forest habitats by engaging and educating local people to value primates and through the development of community livelihood initiatives which protect forest resources by reducing dependence on logging for charcoal production.
